When that whole block was being redeveloped, the owners of the building and land that Aegean Taverna sat on declined several offers to purchase. They were holding out for more money. What ended up happening is that the developers just planned and built AROUND their site, leaving that lonely corner parcel to be undevelopable beyond a 2/3 story structure. They ended up selling for LESS than their first offer.[/quote]
