How “cringe” am I?

I'm not up on the rules of online dating, but I don't think its weird. It's not like she called his office or sent a note to his work email account. It's still the man's personal account and he had his place of work listed on his online dating account so she didn't have to go above and beyond to find him. It sounds like the note was pretty benign - the worst thing that could happen is he doesn't respond or declines. I don't see the big deal.

Would you want a man who saw your dating profile on an app to contact you at work?

I would be honored. But how did you connect him from the dating app to LinkedIn?

Same here.

OP - this app uses LinkedIn to verify identity. I should’ve probably done his Instagram instead since it was also linked, but my Instagram is private and I wouldn’t have wanted to add him there, honestly LinkedIn seemed “safer” in my opinion but seems like maybe not to others.

But she didn't contact him at work. She messaged him on his LinkedIn profile.

I think it's fine for females to do to males but I wouldn't want a male to look me up on linkedin.

You’re fine. He’ll probably be flattered. Such extreme responses here.
