I would guess your odds are pretty good but you might not be told until the last minute. A lot of kids move over the summer and don’t let the school know ahead of time.

Does the waitlist number update in real time as people accept/reject their spots? Our waitlist number is in the upper 20s for 2nd grade at Glenarden Woods Elementary, so do we basically have no hope? Sorry I am totally new to this and am not sure what to expect or how to plan. Thanks!

For at least the last 5 years, Glenarden Woods had open 2nd and 3rd grade TAG seats in August so I would say your chances are very good
