Similar HHI and we receive aid for one child in private. A few thoughts...did you ask? We asked for a reconsideration of aid and the FA director walked us through the decision making. It seems counterintuitive but the more prominent and established schools are more likely to give aid. Smaller schools with less funding simply have less to give. If you truly need aid, you should be applying to multiple schools and comparing aid packages. We did this and even shared what we got with the schools and it was matched.

Because it is the season. I think that is why most people dig out old post due to they searched on Google.

Not enough. Too many crazy parents yelling at people who wishes to apply for FA.
