What is the worst movie that you have seen recently?

The Killers. Totally outlandish, yet predictable

I am watching Mamma Mia as I write. How could so many great actors get this wrong?

oh I REALLY LOVE mama mia!! The movie I really hated recently was It's Complicated. I usually love Meryl Streep, but I really hated this movie...mainly the whiny immature self absorbed kids. The movie might have been OK without them. The guy from The Office was pretty funny though, but not funny enough to make up for the other 3.

2012 and its complete and total disrespect for the laws of physics make it a loser in my book.

The new Alice in wonderland.

Too true. You knew it was bad from the inauthentic and campy first scene. And then it got worse. Just thinking about it makes me want to wash my eyes out.

I know this is old, but caught it on cable and thought it could be good b/c I liked the actors-- August Rush. So horrible I shudder everytime I think of it.

Agree about Mama Mia and It's Complicated...TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE, especially Mama Mia. At least in It's Complicated I could look at the nice decorations and surroundings but the movie itself was dumb. However I LOVE Two Weeks Notice...it's hilarious.

Human Centipede was showing at E St. Cinema.

For those of you who saw the human centipede. What happens in the end?? I am curious to know if everyone dies or gets away?

It was a while back but I was dragged along to see Men Who Stare at Goats (George Clooney / Jeff Bridges)... I think that's what the title was... and it was NOT GOOD. I wanted to see An Education that night but men were coming along and they did not want to see it.

Saw An Education later at E St and it was excellent.

SPOILER ALERT: at the end of human centipede, the first guy kills himself and the girl on the other end dies from blood poisoning. Leaving the girl in the middle alive and connected to between two dead bodies.

And I can't believe the PP who hated Ghost World. That is one of my favorite movies, and I love the graphic novel also.

I loved Ghost World too, if you are talking about the Thora Birch/Steve Buscemi/Scarlett Johannson movie. I went through a HUGE Steve Buscemi phase, a bit over it now, but for a while just thought he was great. Really liked Ghost World.

Me too! Loved Ghost World. A very nice soundtrack, too.

"Sex and the Ciy-2". STUPID.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Actually was a well made movie and drew me in, was suspenseful, and all that, but there was an unnecessarily graphic and brutal rape scene that caused me to feel uneasy for the rest of the day. Yuck. So, maybe not a "bad" movie, just not up my alley?
