No, but, although I dislike the idea of fights in the cafeteria, and have concern about it, I am more concerned about large classes of kids being left to their own devices with zero adult supervision.


I don't think either should be dismissed. They are both really bad. How often are kids left unsupervised in classrooms? That's insanity and a liability.

His PE teacher has been absent often. His other teaches have been absent infrequently. But when they are absent, there is only a sub about half the time.

A 17 year old girl ODed/poisoned by fentanyl (sounds like she died) at Lloyd Apartments at 5 this afternoon. Person who called 911 refused to do cpr and had left the scene by the time medics/police arrived. Looks like another email about a tragic death of a student is impending. It is tragic. The silence of those in power is equally tragic.

Let’s not further the group of children that assaulted a man at McDonalds yesterday in the middle of a school day because the school is so big it cannot enforce truancy and attendance.

This is tragic, but what someone did at an apartment doesn't seem closely tied to the problems at the high school (which are real).
