Jessa Duggar, a pro-life activist who regularly compared abortions to the holocaust, gets abortion

I’m pro choice BTW, and have had a real abortion.

I could be wrong but I believe the anti-abortion faction, which would include the Duggars, generally harbor suspicion about the use of D&Cs to evacuate a miscarriage because they're generally a meddlesome lot and don't trust women to begin with and so they believe the claim of D&C would be used as cover for aborting a viable fetus.

That's based on some of the mainstream rhetoric I've picked up from those people, anyway.

I’ve never heard of this. It sounds pretty extreme. Do you have a link to an anti abortion organization that is proposing that a D&C to evacuate the uterus after a spontaneous miscarriage should be made illegal?

I'm not in the mood to do a ton of research, but an easy google search found ProLife Louisiana which considers D&C to be an abortion procedure.

Jessa Dugger had an abortion because the baby wasn't completely dead. And in medical terms, miscarriages are abortions.

Where are you seeing that the baby wasn't completely dead?

Bingo.

I am glad she was able to receive this necessary medical care, and it is abhorrent that she and other hypocrites will continue to access this type of necessary medical care while advocating for others to have no access to the same standard of care.

I wasn't doing the right search but it's obvious from how these organizations describe D&C that they want it illegal.

This post is gross and mean spirited. +1
