Which politicians don't like the power? |
Unless you cite the study so that we can see the questions, the sample, and the analysis, that means exactly nothing. DP Oooooh: “Recent study….” That’s right up there with every other unattributed source. |
As if you are seeing either love or inclusion from the GOP right now. Why is it the Dems always have to compromise? Where are there any GOP who are not toeing the extremist line? |
The progressive wing of the Democrats want universal healthcare and not to have police shooting people of color for no good reason. The radical wing of the GOP wants a white nationalist christian authoritarian nation. but bOtH sIdEs
|
Let me know when progressive democrats stage an armed coup against the USA. |
I will, and I'll also pay to have Nancy Pelosi's daughter and son in law there filming it for PBS, I promise. Not np. |
Polling. His job approval numbers are sky high. |

I like Hogan!
Maryland Dem who voted for him before and would vote for him again if he runs. |
|
I like Hogan and Nikki Haley. Might vote for either one of them over a Dem in this next election. I’m a moderate Democrat in MoCo but everyday feel more like an independent. Maybe I’m just getting older and more conservative as time goes by or maybe the party just doesn’t align with my views any longer.
I didn’t like what Hogan tried to do with 270 etc with toll lanes and not sure what happened with all those COVID test. BUT I thought Hogan stepped up in a big way during COVID leading the way for other governors - at a time when the federal gov’t (you know who I mean) was pretending the pandemic didn’t exist - at least publicly. Hogan showed us what leadership looks like then. |
Really? Some state agencies have anywhere from 10% to 30% vacancies. According to the Maryland Department of Budget and Management, the state has 10,000 open positions to fill, which includes budgeted and unbudgeted positions, as well as 2,800 abolished positions. https://www.wbaltv.com/article/maryland-state-job-vacancies-session-2023/42489722 No wonder people have been unable to get the help they're supposed to be able to get from our state government. |
What help are people not getting? It looks to me like they are proving that the state government is capable of operating perfectly well at a significantly lower staffing level. |
Then either you're not paying attention, or you haven't had to try to get help from state government lately. |
Well, you aren’t going to see either of them on a general election ballot. It’ll be Trump or DeSantis or someone else of that ilk. |
| He's too fat to be president, unfortunately. |
