Oh, Maryland, what happened to you?

It's so provincial and narrow-minded to start a VA-MD war on DCUM, OP. They're so similar. But that's my foreigner point of view. All you're doing is proving that you haven't learned much from your no doubt extensive travels.

Makes no damn sense for why you’d make it hard to do business when you’re sandwiched between Delaware and Virginia. Does MD enjoy losing billions to those states in lost opportunities?

Oh yeah, no development at all around Bethesda.

Have you checked out the traffic and school crowding in that area? It is because they are letting in too many developers OP.

I wish they would go to VA instead.

You are incorrect. Montgomery county has experienced a rapid decline in recent years. This information is widely available. The state also has seen a decline. Virginia has increased its population.

I believe the poster was referring to quality of life, not who wins for having the most populous state.

More people like OP, who was mad because he had to hit the brakes on his SUV, due to a safety improvement made after a teen was mowed down.

No thank you.

Kinda wish we had him here

They you move.

What a stupid, stupid response.

They want Youngkin as Governor her in MD. If they move than they have him! Sorry but, I thought everyone could figure something so simple.

Nothing in life is that simple except for simpletons. Oh wait...

No, the poster clearly said people are trying to get away from Virginia.

Try again. That wasn't very insulting. You CAN do better. You MUST do better.

Maryland is so trashy. It’s no wonder people are leaving for superior Virginia.
Anonymous
You experienced one county and apparently Maryland has an issue.

The logic.

Much like your “insult.”

Q. Why do Va people constantly start Md Va wars?

A. Md is the richest state in the USA and the 2nd most educated state. Owns the whole Potomac River due to winning the civil war and has every national attraction and all pro sports on its side of the River. Having the most billionaires, best privates and country clubs is just a poke in the eye. The killer is having Georgetown, Big Ten UMD, Annapolis Navy and John’s Hopkins as the best concentrated academic community outside Mass.

Troll thread. Panhandlers at every intersection? Nope. Almost hit four pedestrians? Nope. Almost hit four times? Nope. I’ve lived in MD 20 years and none of this has ever happened to me in a single day.

Another insecure Virginian trying to feel good about themselves.
