OK, does she have a background in education though? They don't "mean" that they are rejecting her because her views don't align.

She is well educated so she certainly has a ”background in education” and isn’t any less qualified than any county public school board member.

Being well educated is NOT the same as having a background in education.

WHY ON EARTH would she be qualified to sit on governing board for state policy?!? I'm educated and interested and an "advocate" for many things - doesn't mean I deserve or should be put in a position of policy making for millions of people. Kinda of like someone being President who NEVER once in their entire life showed an interest in holding elected office in service of the constituents, had any experience governing, or doing anything that ever benefited anyone but themselves.
