I would look for a bralette style swim top.
I (an adult woman, natch) wear boardshorts and a rashguard frequently. I burn easily and like outdoor sports. I personally am a DD and wear an underwired bikini top with some support. Lots of ways adult women can wear shorts and a rashie. |
| Lands End rash guards for girls have lining in the front. |
“Nipple action” doesn’t need to be 100% obscured, god forbid someone know you have nipples while wearing a swimsuit. I wouldn’t make my daughter wear multiple layers at the beach because of nipples. Unless she wants to put on multiple layers, I wouldn’t go casting your insecurities on her. |
You’re the outlier on the nipple issue, sweetheart. |
LOL the "it's just your body" mom chiming in on how to make sure your kid looks like they don't have an adult in their life. This is not hard. You wear a bikini and put a rash guard/swim shirt on over it. Millions of people are doing it everyday. |
Just like millions of women are wearing bikini tops or one pieces without foam cup inserts and where-gasp- a nipple outline is visible. Not a big deal |
| Rashguards protects against the sun. Even if she wants a bikini, she still needs to protect her skin. My son can go topless but he wears a rashguard due to our family history. |
She’s 11. |
Same here. My 13 yo son hates sunscreen, so he wears a rash guard still. DD is 11 and still wears a rash guard. |
| 11 and 13 year old DDs still wear rash guards as do I. We wear bikini tops under. Mine with underwire. It’s fine and not weird and completely normal |
She's a little girl who does not want anyone noticing her new breasts. Get her a cute age-appropriate 2 peice from mini Boden and a cute swim shirt and stop with the nonsense about how it's not a big deal. It's not, but try to remember being an 11 year old girl. |
Please do not buy anything from Mini Biden for an 11 year old!! |
