Developing Tween DD and rashguard question

Suggestions for bathing suit/ clothing stores my tween liked:

Target, Abercrombie, hollister, cotton on, aerie, alter’d state, pac sun, urban outfitters, Anthropologie, south moon under.

Order sizes like women’s xxs and xs online ( they usually sell them online but don’t have them in stores) and then return in the store if it doesn’t fit.

swimsuit top underneath or a sports bra.

However, I'd ask her if she wants to just wear a swim suit. She may be outgrowing the rashguard/swim trunks look.

Thanks everyone, especially the PP who sent the humankind link.

We found rashguards on Amazon that have a little built in bra.

Depends how much support she needs/want. If she doesn’t feel like she needs actual support, why does she need to wear a separate top under the rashgaurd? It’s the same thing as wearing a non padded, no shelf bra one piece.

How about a tankini top with a built in bra?

Lands end makes a short-sleeved swim tee with a built-in bra. Sometimes I wear that with some swim shorts when we’re sailing.

+2 If she is 11, I bet she has outgrown the swim trunk/rash guard look by spring break or summer.

what about a tankini that she can put a rash guard on top of.

You can definitely get rashguards with a built-in bra.

If nipplage is a concern, get silicone nipple covers on Amazon. They're great (but don't help with bouncing, obviously).

When my DD was 11, the nipple action started to happen, even though she was still mostly flat-chested. That’s when - and why - she started wearing a bikini top under the rash guard.

Wow nipple covers for swimming? That seems risky. Hey, what’s that floating in the pool?

I’m an adult woman with a C cup and I wear board shorts and a sleeveless rash guard. It’s fine. I’m way more covered uo than someone wearing a bikini. Let her wear what she wants
