My student was just told today that schools won't notify anyone until Friday.

Really? I am a TPMS parent and I am very anxious. But my magnet kid said no one is talking about it and they assume they'll talk about it after they know results. Displays a lot of eagerness to go, but no anxiety, and I know when my kid is anxious.

Another TPMS parent here. My kid and their friends are all anxious to see if they got in or not since their home schools are all different and they want to be together next year

My magnet kid has definitely been talking about it with multiple people today including multiple teachers. I also think anxiety is running high.

They had to register for HS classes today and they were told that if accepted to a magnet, they'd work with them to change it but that there had been a delay and no one would hear till Fri.

Almost every magnet student from years past, registers at home school first, then if they go to magnet, they do that. Calm down. It works out. Seriously.

MCPS Web site now says "first week of February."

It’s hasn’t changed. That’s what it said on that page for weeks. It’s the other page that says Feb 1.
