Op where is your weight on the list of things that give you self worth? Not judging, my own list is also petty. What advice would you give to the moderately overweight (not obese) person who wants to be healthier?
Well, I used to care about it more due to some issues in my childhood when I was considered somewhat chubby. I was not; I just did not stick skinny like other kids were and I have a round face so it gave the impression of being chubby. I cared a lot more, but having said that I always thought I eat a lot, but somehow did not really gain weight. Having said that, I was very physically active too. For advice, well, not sure; eat cabbage and veggies a ton and eat more carbs in the morning. That was my way of eating forever, and a light supper, but with work and all, it is not easy to follow that as much as I would like to. Now I skip breakfast during the work week, which goes against every fiber in my belief system, but things and patterns of eating change as we age.
