OMG you are going to make all of those skinny people jealous! They just can't stop thinking about it 24/7! |
I’m not whoever you think I am but I’m guessing we are both listeners of Maintenance Phase podcast. |
|
Guys, ozempic isn't a miracle drug. Yes, it works for a lot of people, but not for everyone.
OP: Everyone's face looks gaunt and ugly after they lose a lot of weight quickly. It doesn't matter how they lose it - quick weight loss = saggy, gaunt face. |
Well, you’re almost right. It doesn’t matter how or how fast—lose weight, lose face volume, period. |
Stay mad, honey. |
I’m not that PP, but why are you so triggered. I mean she isn’t the one bleating on about “confirmed mental illness.” What sort of nonsense is that? And no, I don’t need Ozempic. I can just, you know, read the thread in front of me and it is extremely clear the skinny triggered people are the ones with serious issues. |
Congratulations!! That is great news! |
NP. There was a previous thread whenever someone said they were successful with exercise and diet that one particular poster would go off and claim everyone was fat shaming and jealous. Diet and exercise have worked for many and these drugs prove that because they stop people from eating too many calories and that is why they lose weight. Do some people have a medical condition that contributes to obesity? Yes. Are people obese because they over eat and are sedentary? Absolutely. If you compare a person who has been healthy and fit most of their lives to someone who was overweight, then obese, and then take 18 months to lose weight their bodies and faces look different. Ozempic face is real |
Yes, we’re all soooooo jealous of someone who had more than 32 pounds to lose.
|
That is great! My SIL lost the weight without the drugs and now she doesn't have to take any meds. The end goal is a healthier you. Glad you are seeing results. |
Yes we get it you hate fat people. Wait, I mean, are worried for the health of fat people. |
The odds are overwhelmingly against her maintaining the loss lifelong. Don’t be surprised if she ends up on a GLP1 drug of one stripe or another. |
Runners face is also real and looks the exact same (saggy and gaunt). Losing facial volume is hard on your face. It comes with age and is worse when you’re thin. Even if you’ve always been thin. My worst-aging friend has never had a BMI above 22. |
It’s not Ozempic face. It’s weight loss face. Nobody is denying that being very overweight for a long time usually makes you look permanently different. It’s just so laughable that people are warning “you’ll get Ozempic face!!” as if that’s a good reason not to use it. Like okay? So what? They’ve been telling us to lose weight for years and now that we finally have a tool to help us to do it with relative ease they’re making pathetic attempts to dissuade us from doing it. Ozempic face! You’ll pay the price! Big pharma! Just wait! It’s almost like…..they never really wanted us to lose the weight, they just liked shaming us because it felt good. At first it upset me, but now I just find the psychology of it fascinating. |
100 actually! And I’m glad to hear you’re happy for me having access to an easy way to lose weight without having to diet and exercise. |
