There is always a price.
https://people.com/health/ozempic-face-doctors-explain-the-side-effect-of-using-diabetes-drug/ Because shit, I take Ozempic for actual diabetes. |
| Well duh... but that's not because of Ozempic. It's called weight loss, and when you weight it shows in your face. |
| You always get this when you lose weight. Your body won't ever go all the way back down either. Your rib cage expands as do hips. |
| Oh for Pete’s sake. |
| Pics or it didn’t happen. |
| So… weight loss. Yes. It’s a very old story, “pick your face or your a$$.” |
| The number of people who are absolutely furious that semiglutide works well for weight control and so who desperately want to believe made-up negative stories about it is truly staggering. |
+1. Non-diabetic taking Ozempic for weight loss. Has my face lost a little volume? Yes, of course. But I had plenty of face fat to spare and I still have some left. Even if my face looks a little older, having the weight melt off like magic over the last 8 months has been totally worth it. |
They’re soooo mad. So so mad. |
They are mad that people are fat? |
They are mad that someday they may no longer be celebrated as morally superior because they don’t struggle with obesity. |
They're mad that fat people have access to a relatively easy and painless way to be thin. |
Remember, there's always a price to be paid when you take a shortcut. |
+1. |
Yeah, gonna let others be the guinea pigs here. Anything too easy usually has a price and its usually a price people don't anticipate. |
