Rotten Tomatoes doesn't use decimals. It's at 50% on Rotten Tomatoes. Not great, but not horrid (haven't watched, no plans to watch).

What a surprise. Color wash out all the white characters. But keep Fred white of course, because he is the token white male you can bash with racist jabs all series long with impunity. Shaggy had to go out of his way to explicitly state he doesn't use drugs, which actually comes off even more racist because he's now black. They they add in all sorts of nudity and gore to make it edgy. What a trash show. Rather than make original series with new minority characters, they take the lazy approach of race swapping characters and then spend the whole series race bashing against white males. So lazy and such a tired played out trope that might have been funny in 2018.

I agree. This is what’s annoying about it. Mindy grew up like Freddy did, so it’s ironic how she portrays Freddy when MK relates to his lifestyle the most.

I think it's clever and funny. Am watching with my spouse and teenage daughters. I grew up watching scooby doo, but don't feel like it's something that can't be re-interpreted.

Hi friends - this show isn't SUPPOSED to be about Scooby Doo. It's supposed to be about VELMA. I don't know why people were expecting Scooby to be in this show. I mean, I haven't watched it yet, but I know not to expect Scooby or the weird, wacky humor from the original Scooby Doo. This is not a kids show, obviously.
