| I always loved MdX’s, we almost bought one. Very nice interior and quite zippy. The only thing I don’t like is the small third row and exterior styling- it was a bit generic/boring looking. |

+1 I’ve driven Hondas all my life and hopefully will never switch. Fingers crossed they can come out with an EV. I like the MDX most right now but wouldn’t hesitate to get a Pilot if I preferred that. My sister has oneand I like it but not as much as the MDX. |
There are dealer incentives right now. I took advantage of the $1,000 off for current Acura owners. I got another $3K off sticker in addition to that. It wasn't hard and not much haggling and I didn't finance. The first dealer told me they were adding $5K to sticker price but he said he would do me a favor and take off the $5K and give me actual sticker price. I walked out and never went back to that one. That was Rosenthal. Any other dealer is better than them. |
| There is a huge between the X7/GLS and the Acura/Infiniti/Lexus. The Audi is somewhere in the middle. |

I’d suggest that you perhaps compare to the comparable Toyota/Lexus offering and look at repair, reliability, resale, etc., over the past several years. We’ve had a bunch of Hondas in our family and are still driving them, but I can’t shake the feeling that the overall quality went down with each passing model year. I know for certain that one model got “weight engineered” to its great detriment between certain model years.
We had one Acura. It was nice and better than the comparable Honda. But I think it had a stronger Japanese input (this was a while ago). There is a definite luxury difference moving from Honda to Acura. I had one German car. I loved it. I still miss it. It handled amazingly. And the dealer loved us both because the maintenance, especially after warranty, was eye watering. None of our Hondas has ever compared with it for expense. Ours haven’t had the automated safety features. I’m not a fan. I don’t think all the bugs are worked out yet as a PP observed. I drove a rental that had some of those “features” and found the alarms a distraction from handling whatever they were reacting to. Can’t imagine a car deciding to slam on the brakes and pretension the seatbelts all on its own volition. |
| Oh yeah, those safety and sensor bells and whistles drive me crazy!! I just hit the kill button on all of them. Lol. Nothing like paying a bunch for sensors we waited forever to get shipped in from overseas only to hit the kill switch and have it operate like a base model Toyo. Lol!! I could not take the BRAKE screen, constant wheel buzzing, beeping and blinking anymore. |
Oh wow, you had to wait? Mine was sitting on the lot and I got $4K discount. I'm not hearing any warning beeps beyond the blind spot warning, which I like. I think they might have disabled them upon delivery at my request. |
