My sister is annoying. Can anything be done?

Keep stepping back from her until you can tolerate each other

So the only thing she says about her weight loss is that she's cold?

Than your issue is just that your sister is cold, or that she keeps telling you she is cold.

You are the one who is making this about her weight loss.

I am freezing all the time so I’m shmpathetic. Here are the tinge I like:
— an Irish wool sweater. The real ones from Ireland not the wimp ones they sell here.
— really warm slippers. I have the ll bean wicked good but am eyeing the company store down ones.
— a heating pad to sit on.
— my Sherpa Snuggie which I think I love so much I want to be “laid out in it” as my gran’ would say:

The coldness is such a curse. Our thermostat is set to 72. I am wearing long underwear under my clothes. I have thermal socks on top of regular socks. And I am so cold I can’t feel my nose. (I’m about to go get my sweater or snuggle.).

Fuzzy robes. Comfy sweats, one extra layer and fuzzy socks.

Buy her a fur coat.

It’s not because she’s thinner. It’s because losing a lot of weight freaks your body out so it slows your metabolism to try to keep and put on weight. This makes you cold.

Anonymous wrote:“It’s your sister’s job to be annoying!” Said all the time to my daughters, and know because I am myself a sister.

This is the only correct answer.

Did she go on Ozempic? My BIL is on it and was freezing all Xmas. MIL who babies him had the heat on about 80 and I almost died in my sleep for the three nights we stayed.

I’ve been on Ozempic for several months and have lost 20lbs. I’m no longer overweight. The only time I was cold over Christmas was when it was SEVEN DEGREES outside and I was sitting next to our drafty row house windows. I’m inclined to think it was about the unusually frigid temperatures during Christmas and not my weight loss or medication.

Amazed it took three pages for "cut them off instead of talking to them" poster to enter the thread....

Are you 12?

“If you’re cold, you should get up and move around instead of laying or sitting. Sedentary bodies are cold bodies. You need to get up and move.”

Evil, but effective, I’d wager.

I thinking you will have to learn to live with your sister.
We all have burdens that we have to bear. But by no means, write a memoire about your sibling!

You’re confused, hon. This is how you respond to a 12 year old, which is how sister is behaving. I work with 6th graders. This is on point.
