What do you think of the Indian (Asian) name Aashi for a girl?

Indian-American here - I like Asha a lot better than Aashi. I agree that she will be called 'ashy' at some point, although I guess that's a possibility with Asha too, but not as much. Love Priya!

We've stayed away from the 'a' sound in our kids' names, because they are pronounced 'AH' correctly, but most Americans tend to say 'AA', and we just wanted to avoid having to correct people all the time. LOL, of course, trying to find Hindu names that everyone here can pronounce with no trouble has been quite challenging.
