+1. Lost count of the cyclists that blow through stop signs and lights.

That’s what the county tells us to do dumbass.

We are permitted to treat stop signs as yield signs under the Idaho Stop law. That means we are not required to stop at stop signs. So get the F’ over it.

As for “blowing through red lights”, I’ve been riding for 10 years and I’ve literally NEVER seen a cyclist run a red light. Ever. Not even once. But I see plenty of cars run red lights every day.

Another one for the ‘cyclists are the worst’ column.

This is literally what the county tells us to do. It's not personal.

I see cyclists do Idaho stops in Alexandria everyday where it is not legal

Be best. Keep your leaves in your own damn yards and not in the street where they can cause a rider to crash. This sort of thing should be common sense, but a lot of people are too stupid to realize it.

Consider yourselves warned.

Well since you asked nicely…🤦🏻‍♂️

cyclists are obnoxious. Clearly, Dale Carnegie was not a cyclist.

100%. Cyclists are the worst. I'd care more about cyclists if they weren't so terrible and self-absorbed.
How about the day they realize that the roads do not revolve around them, we'll remove the leaves? Done.

Maybe you cheap folks should just do what our entire neighborhood does, and pay for lawn services that remove all the leaves as they rake them. Voila, no issues, problem solved.

HA! This is such a cyclist thing to say. Bemoaning that people aren't richer. See comments re:cyclists above.

Note to self: blow leaves into street with my loud gas blower.

Op comes off poorly (cause cyclists) but in Montgomery County they are right. Leaves are not supposed to be on the streets but on the curb, which is the grassy part next to the street.

Uhhh this is literally what DPW tells people to do get rid of leaves. Consider yourself warned

The Department of Public Works (DPW) will provide leaf collection service from November 7, 2022 through January 28, 2023 to residents who receive our trash and recycling services. Every 10 years, the District of Columbia government is required to redraw Ward boundaries. Please review your ward map as the boundary may have changed since last year.

District households serviced by DPW are asked to rake leaves into the tree box (or at the curb in front of their home where there is no tree box) on the Sunday of the week of their scheduled collection.

AT THE CURB DOES NOT MEAN IN THE STREET YOU IDIOT.

How stupid are you that you don’t understand that leaves on the curb blow in the street? You’re the idiot.

Oh they blow into a nice neat pile on the side of the street? Is that what happens??
