| Honestly the way she dealt w her religious son was super fair and a good tone. Was reasonable but firm. Solid parenting |
I always find it funny when people who have been married more than once are like “this is forever” um obviously you know that’s not necessarily going to happen. |
That’s definitely an old picture of his fiancee. |
Totally agree. And I really hope she’s able to build her women’s home with support services. |
They signed paperwork to become 50-50 co owners. The paperwork was legally signed, but never filed in the state of Delaware, where the business was incorporated. That nullifies and voids the agreement. It leaves her with less than 1% of the company, not the 50% she was under the impression she owned. Whether this was intentional or a mistake is to be determined. They have several lawsuits around it that are ongoing and will be for a bit longer. I cannot see the suits finding in her favor because the paperwork was never filed. I also cannot understand how, during the past few years, and never came to her attention, or anybody’s attention at board meetings, or when any other major decisions were made for the company, like plans to incorporate, that she was not a stakeholder (or one with more than 1%). |
| *plans to go public (not incorporate) |
| I feel like she has to love how thin / starved / anorexic she is ....she shows off her jutting ribs / stick legs etc. This isn't a situation of "oh i'm so heartsick i cant eat and feel awful"....she definitely think she looks good and wants to show it off |
Thank you! This is helpful! |
I was impressed with this too. |
Would she be eligible for some sort of financial compensation even if it’s not the ownership stake she claims? I think she knew she wasn’t an equal owner and that she is just hoping the courts side with her. If you signed paperwork to be an equal owner in a multi-million dollar business, you for sure would follow through and make sure everything was in place. You would have a team of lawyers representing just your interest to make sure this was put in place. Has anything ever come of his claims that she stole money from the company? That would be illegal so seems weird that the stories made it to the press but no charges ever happened. Did he even sue her to recoup the funds? |
Something about her story doesn’t ring true to me - how someone with just an 8th grade education up until her late 30s manages to be a CEO within 10 years. But I do believe that she wants her kids to have secular educations/life styles and I believe she does want to help oppressed women. And I hope she pulls it off. |

I just finished this season and my opinion of her has gone way down.
No boundaries with her children - she seems to lean on them for emotional support and want to control their lives. Her weight is scary. And I agree with PP that she seems to think she looks great. She looks like a scarecrow. Her clothes would be wildly inappropriate/unflattering even if she was a healthy weight - but that scene of her dancing in the go-go shorts was disturbing. And hooking up with the 23 year old? Super cringey. All the talk of their start up seemed super simplistic and unprofessional as though it was all fake. Makes me wonder what she did at Silvio's company. The idea of making her 22 year old daughter the CIO is also crazy. It's a head scratcher. |
Keep in mind that she never got to go through the rites of passage of being a teen, being a college student free from responsibilities, etc. So she's trying to encourage her kids to get/have/enjoy what she didn't, and trying to get it herself. |
Good point. Also, did she have a salary during this time, where’s her money from? Netflix and her book? If she’s selling her engagement ring, it’s not clear how she can employ people. |
