Applications to how many colleges if applying ED?

Even if you ED, you need to apply to Wake forest or Georgetown by December before you get your ED results back if you want to get an interview which is required.
( in case you don't get to your ED choice)

Wake Forest ran out of interview slots weeks ago, mid October. Kids are allowed to submit a video instead.

You don't have to wait on working on the RD supplemental essays just because you will wait for the ED decisions. But you also don't need to submit all the RD's in the end if you already have EA's that you like better.

I agree. She isn’t submitting the RDs if she is accepted to the ED school. But she still needs to have the essays ready to go. Also some competitive schools only offer ED and RD; there is no EA option.
