VA District 8: Lipsman vs Beyer

I understand you typically vote Republican, but Beyer is a long time business owner, and not extreme left, with a good record on constituent services (there's another thread on this). I think you can feel comfortable with a Beyer vote.

+1
Look at how lipsman even waffled on Ukraine. She has zero substance and would be a waste of the seat. Beyer has actually authored quite a few good bills, particularly in the last year and he does look out for his constituents. Aside from that, he is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He does a lot of good (often anonymously) personally in his community.
-a neighbor who used to be republican

Don’t forget “Veterans” and “Stand with Ukraine” (by cutting off all aid to Ukraine).

It’s ridiculous - she had just put up all of those stand w/ Ukraine, yellow & blue signs. Then she waffled and said she’d support cutting off all aid to ukraine so suddenly her signs sept he’s.

I don't know a single thing that Beyer is doing now or will do different or even try to do. He is just complacent, like the show of politics and has money

People who have been around awhile have good constituent services. He's also a predictable vote - democratic, but he'll be part of the group pushing back against the progressive wing when they go too far. I'm fine with that and think it's better than whatever we'd get if he lost a primary.
