| Do legacies have a leg up applying ED? |
|
My child has a friend there who is thriving. Has had great internship opportunities and has really enjoyed the more midwestern vibe of many of his classmates. I suspect he got a lot of need-based aid. Outstanding student from the Big 3, family is lower middle-class.
He did apply ED. |
What gaming ? |
| ED is a must. Also a hook. |
Please list in detail how NU has gamed the rankings? There's a reason lots of kids want to attend. Easy to switch majors, easy to double major in 2 totally different areas, easy to minor in several areas especially if in Weinberg (A&S) where you have more electives, smart kids where most have many divergent interests so that makes for an interesting student body. Yes, a lot of the kids are rich---that happens at all schools that cost $80K+/year (even non T20 schools). NU was a top 20 school in the 1990s so moving into the T10 where everyone is so close isn't really that difficult to do. Only thing going against them is the weather and that's just something you learn to live with. |
Northwestern hasn’t gamed the rankings. It’s always been a very good school. |

Northwestern gamed to increase its law school ranking.
|
No one is talking about law school. |
No it did not. |
Theses people have no shame |
yawn |

Its actually a cheating to make employment rate of its graduates look higher than actual.
Law school ranking is very important so the cheating. |
| Northwestern's law school is under-rated so, if there is any gaming of the ranking system going on, NU law didn't do it right. |
+1. No idea what this loon is talking about. |
