Please list in detail how NU has gamed the rankings?  There's a reason lots of kids want to attend.  Easy to switch majors, easy to double major in 2 totally different areas, easy to minor in several areas especially if in Weinberg (A&S) where you have more electives, smart kids where most have many divergent interests so that makes for an interesting student body.  Yes, a lot of the kids are rich---that happens at all schools that cost $80K+/year (even non T20 schools).  NU was a top 20 school in the 1990s so moving into the T10 where everyone is so close isn't really that difficult to do.  Only thing going against them is the weather and that's just something you learn to live with.  [/quote]
