+1. Harsh winters suck and you are at college for almost all of it. In warm towns, you are away for summer so at college for good months.

I don't know if I'd switch but I *am* deeply curious about what my life would have been like if I'd chosen one of the other schools I got into. I think if could give past me advice, it would be to have been more serious about applying to Canadian schools.
