They travel sports thing is NoVa in generally, definitely not just Vienna! I’m shocked hearing my coworkers talk about the time and money they waste on it. Not a single one has played more then 1 year in at college level after all that and most got offered Irving or barely enough to dent tuition costs. It’s a weird northern Virginia obsession not Vienna

When seeing another posts about Mclean vs. Vienna, I know the Vienna zipcode has a lot of development potentials Mclean price is about 500K more than Vienna in terms of new built home and Vienna could serve as a secondary choice if people couldn't afford the same size space/lot in Mclean.

I live in Vienna. I’m fat and frumpy. I’m also rich. Certainly wouldn’t know it if you saw me at the Farmers’ Market. But I wasn’t there this past weekend so wasn’t me.

It’s a certain part of Vienna. And other NoVa areas. Go read the DCUM sport forums. I don’t get it. The obsession with having kids be in sports to maybe possibly play in college. My kid plays rec softball for fun. You know, fun? We haven’t bought into the travel BS bc the kids has lots of other interests. As ES aged kids should have vs focusing on one thing.
