SES of Vienna residents

I know Vienna is not as rich as McLean or Great Falls but it is still one of the wealthier towns in NoVa. I was surprised this morning when I walked around in the farmers market there to see the people around me look rather...ordinary. Lots of tattoos, overweight frumpy people who definitely did not look rich... So why is this town so overhyped?

This whole area is full of quiet wealth. Northern Virginia isn’t really a flashy place. Also it’s hot AF at a farmers market. I’ve got a million in the bank with a high HHI and I’d be wearing shorts and flip flops, with a messy bun, too.

This. Tattoos are super common on well educated professionals in their 40s. You might not know it bc many ppl keep them covered at work but they’re there.
