I once went to a celebrity wedding and it was honestly like going to a middle school dance. There were cliques and small gossipy groups with people staring across the room at other people who were much more famous (Elton John). It was suprisigingly unsophisticated that way.

Redman. Did anyone see his MTV cribs episode from back in the day? He still lives in the same house and the guy that was sleeping on the floor still performs with him. I don’t think any other celebrity lives as humbly.

Met a photog who shot for Ana Faris and Chris Pratt. She said nothing to make it seem like they are anything but ordinary people. Was a family event around Ana and her dad (birthday? Dad’s wedding? I can’t remember).

She didn’t say “they are normal and down to earth.” That wasn’t the conversation. But nothing else was said such as “the party was over the top” or “they were jerks.” It was all positive.

I now live near Atlanta and have met quite a few living around town during filming. I also worked in radio in Houston in the late 90’s where I also met quite a few musicians and celebrities.

First off the one who impressed me the most is not a celebrity to most but as the last man to set foot on the moon (one of only 12), Gene Cernan was on a totally different level of celebrity to me and also the nicest.

Lionel Richie was very humble and incredibly smart.

My friend’s daughter was the young Justine in The Accountant and said Ben Affleck was so nice.

We ran into Jennifer Garner and talked about Houston and she is just so down to earth and nice.

Keanu Reeves is totally down to earth.

When she was alive and shopping at the grocery store, Barbara Bush was really like a sweet old grandmother who would spoil her grandchildren.

Honestly most I have met are what I would call Extroverted Introverts.
