They had a sleepover with a couple of friends and the kids all had their own tents and beds in a circle (looked like a Pinterest board). Party was from 5pm - 9am and the girls had a spa bus come to the house for nails etc and makeup. Then swimming followed by house wrapping and karaoke. There was not one girl who didn’t have a blast. Just an idea but I realize it’s a lot for mom!!

So, I looked up house wrapping, and all I came up with was adding insulation to a house. Please tell me these home owners had this 9 year old girls install insulation in the middle of a party between swimming and karaoke.

My kid, at 9, had a party at the indoor splash park at Rollingcrest Chillum. Lots of fun and a perfect size to allow the kids to explore and still be close. My house is brick though so it's already got decent insulation.

Hope the kids wore n95s when dealing with all that insulation!

Personally I love this idea

Me too! Fun and memorable yet doesn’t break the bank.

Are you kidding? The MD Renaissance Faire is extremely expensive, when you add up food and shows. And it honestly would be boring for some kids. There are some weirdos there too. No, I wouldn’t feel comfortable sending my 9 year old to a party there at a crowded venue where kids could easily get lost.

Cox Farms is also fun - and doesn’t have weird adults drinking alcohol

Hahaha! I should have used different wording. I mean toilet papering a house. They use the term wrapping where I'm from. They cleaned it up in the morning and did it to friends who were down the street,.

The conveyer belt sushi place downtown

Great idea…bc 9 year olds love sushi. LOL.

Why must y’all shat all over everything? Some kids like sushi. Mine don’t, but clearly some kids do.

It wouldn’t be a good choice for a birthday party for kids since not all kids like sushi.

We must have a weird crowd. My nine year old, seven year old, and their friends love sushi. There was a party with a sushi platter for adults and chicken tenders and pizza for kids and the sushi was mobbed. When parents tried to get the kids to switch here was lots of complaints "why do we have to eat junk food when you get sushi??"

Our kids and their friends all love sushi. We are Asian American but their non Asian friends seem to love sushi too.

So you’re saying that TPing a house down the street was a sanctioned activity at a 9 year olds birthday party. Those parents are trying way too hard to be the cool parents. Is it graffitiing overpasses for the 10th birthday?

How long ago? I just looked online and it said they're not doing party packages. Did you just show up with a gang of kids and pizza?
