Maryland Renaissance faire will be open. They have face painting and hair garlands and lots of shows and costumes if they are the type that would like to dress up elaborately. Regular street clothes fine too.
Personally I love this idea
Me too! Fun and memorable yet doesn’t break the bank.
Are you kidding? The MD Renaissance Faire is extremely expensive, when you add up food and shows. And it honestly would be boring for some kids. There are some weirdos there too. No, I wouldn’t feel comfortable sending my 9 year old to a party there at a crowded venue where kids could easily get lost.
Cox Farms is also fun - and doesn’t have weird adults drinking alcohol
+1 weird adults in cosplay lol
