9-year-old Birthday Party ideas

Anonymous
I am trying to think of a special way we can spend my daughter's upcoming 9th birthday. She prefers to just have 2-3 close friends to spend the day doing something fun. I was trying to think of a fun place to take them for the day. Birthday is at the beginning of September. Would appreciate any ideas others have or have tried in the past. TIA!

Depends on her interests...a concert, a show, amusement park, art place, sporting event, etc...
Fun to take her and few close friends even for movie and nice dinner with a stop at a favorite ice cream place

A horseback riding session, boat ride and dinner, escape room

What is it she likes to do? Do that and go out for lunch at a fun place.

My daughter just went to the cutest and most fun sleepover for her best friend who turned 9. They had a sleepover with a couple of friends and the kids all had their own tents and beds in a circle (looked like a Pinterest board). Party was from 5pm - 9am and the girls had a spa bus come to the house for nails etc and makeup. Then swimming followed by house wrapping and karaoke. There was not one girl who didn’t have a blast. Just an idea but I realize it’s a lot for mom!!

Most people don’t have their own pool. And my goodness, this sounds expensive!

Maryland Renaissance faire will be open. They have face painting and hair garlands and lots of shows and costumes if they are the type that would like to dress up elaborately. Regular street clothes fine too.
