Like a registry of gun owners?! So glad you’re in favor of that now!

Any indication that the survey won't be anonymous? If not, shut it!

Great! So you’re open to an anonymous registry of gun owners run by the government. Great to know! Thanks!

Yes, I do. It's called a background check, dumb ass. I have had one run on me each of the six times I bought a gun. SIX!!! Are you upset? Show us you are upset.

This is not science though.

Especially if most faculty and staff decide to lie in order to keep their jobs.

Grow up, PP. You’re just embarrassing yourself with your childish name calling.

What about the firearms purchased before background checks? I have two that I inherited. If you’re okay with what DeSantis is doing than you should absorb the same regarding firearm registries and inquiries.

And on Tuesday, according to NBC, the Leon County School Board approved a “LGBTQ Inclusive Guide,” which includes a clause that says parents must be informed if a student who is “open about their gender identity” is in their child’s gym class or with them on an overnight school trip. “Upon notification or determination of a student who is open about their gender identity, parents of the affected students will be notified of reasonable accommodation options available,” the guidelines state. “Parents or students who have concerns about rooming assignments for their student’s upcoming overnight event based on religious or privacy concerns may request an accommodation.”

They are essentially creating a “sex offender like” registry for openly gay students. If this is not vile and hateful, I don’t know what is.

Is gender identity now the same as sexual orientation?

No and it never was the same.

So your guns are registered with the state? Can your neighbors, police or insurance company look you up by name or address? Is this information on your medical records?

Studies are VOLUNTARY, this bill REQUIRES students and faculty to disclose political preferences which is private information.

Read the effing bill, it's not that long, it requires nothing from students and faculty.

Sure.

DP. You sound a bit unhinged. Crossing my fingers you don't go postal with one of your six guns.

I’m done pretending that Republicans aren’t acting like literal Nazis

Why are you posting an article about something that happened a year ago?

Happens all the time. And then dimwits here simply repost and the rubes believe it. So typical.

What’s wrong with sexual attraction in the locker room or overnight camping trip for middle and high schoolers? Sounds really comfy and inclusive, such a safe environment for all.

Our WDC private school does a survey like this.

Under House Bill 233, surveys would be conducted annually on campuses to assess viewpoint diversity and intellectual freedom, and determine “the extent to which competing ideas and perspectives are presented,” and whether students and faculty “feel free to express beliefs and viewpoints on campus and in the classroom.”

Why is this a bad thing? Finding out if students and faculty are free to share their viewpoints?

Fairfax County Public Schools surveyed students about sexual activity and you all seemed to have no problem with that.

Thanks for the school survey, gotta start working on that.
