Where can I buy longer shorts for my tween girl?

My teenage daughter routinely chooses boys clothes because they are just made better. She accessorizes so they don’t look too obviously boyish.

Uniqlo has some cute “paper bag” style shirts that are a bit longer.

Target. Girls mid length shorts. Use the app; lots of options.

My 11yo DD wears the men's XS shorts from H&M and I don't think she's ever going back to girls/women's. The POCKETS!

Lands End, Target mid-length, and the boys' department (also, stealing clothing from an older brother) - I have another pocket-lover who is highly irritated that most boys' bottoms have pockets while so many girls' do not.

+1 I cannot understand that for the life of me! I get that sexism is a thing and even girls are expected to be cuter but you’d think after decades of people complaining about this, at least Target would change. At least they have made boy clothes a little more fun.

What!!! Girls clothes are so much better. There is so much variety, and the clothes are stylish. Boys get zero zilch.

Do a search for Nike, Adidas or Puma girls' golf shorts.

The Old Navy Uniform store also carries bermuda/golf length shorts in all sizes for girls. They are uniform colors like navy, black, and khaki but they might work.

Some people want stylish clothes. Other people want functional clothes. It’s hard to find both for girls.

These short shorts are driving me crazy. Even worse are the short shorts in denim with rips. Really? My daughter just turned 13, and she will have plenty of time when she's older to look like a Ho if that's how she wants to dress.

She is wearing women's clothes now, as size 14-16 doesn't always fit well. Their clothes are more expensive but I've found some cute shorts from Reformation in Georgetown for her. I also need to look at Target; good ideas from other folks, thanks!

Mine has long, skinny legs & the struggle is real. She fired the like shorts that are too loose (probably from years of wearing leggings because nothing else fit), so that leaves ‘long’ bike shorts (that have no pockets) or Target midis that fit like short shorts.

Pp here: fired the like is a clear indication that this week need to end. Doesn’t like

Yeah, another mom and tween daughter jointly hating the short tight shorts and the shredded denim look.
We actually got a pair at h & m in kids that isn’t too short. But most of their stuff was awful.
The last several years she’s been wearing unisex soccer shorts but I think the social pressure to wear something else was growing.

Buy boys shorts for her.

Yep, men and boys get pockets and functionality, and they don't have to have their butt hang out. One of my friend's girls wore boys shorts until she was 18 or so.
