Just because people aren't in the spotlight or in the media all the time doesn't mean they're not okay. What a bizarre take on people's lives.
it’s been 3 1/2 years. I think the OP has moved on.

It caused a stir when it came out in 2006 by naming names of the progeny of the rich and famous who got into colleges that they didn't seem to deserve to be in. And then it had renewed interest more recently, because one of the rich kids cited as a case study was a then not famous Jared Kushner who was described by all as "mediocre" but got in to Harvard after his father donated $2.5 million.

DP. I thought she asked this because I recall a story about him getting hit by a car as a kid-breaking free of his dad and running into the street. Was that him or someone else?

I went to high school with a Kennedy. Seemed very down to earth and like a good person. Poor grades, but went to an ivy. I wish her well. It's traumatic being in that family and facing so much tragedy. Yes, it's easy to cope when you have the resources of the rich, but still would not wish it on anyone. Plus, I'm sure it's no fun having all your classmates know you had a major advantage getting in.

Probably most of their classmates also had major advantages to get into any IVY league school.
