More conservative! Ha! Come to my Catholic private in DC-full of very liberal parents as well as the staff. Abysmal sports and not a robust amount of sports to have access to. Give me a break with the network stuff, you should be embarrassed by that. Lunch can be taken care of by parents. No one chooses a school for the menu. The one thing you are right on is the facilities and that’s all my $30000 plus a year is going to which is not okay with me. You are a fool.

I laughed at that too. Where are you, PP? I cannot think of a great private here in the DC area where the parents would be conservative! Even if they were, their kids definitely wouldn't be.

Private school is not always the best academically. We are leaving our well regarded private because it’s touted as better but is in fact not. It’s just what people assume.

Name that private?

I know! I know!

For bonus points: how many times has this PP posted to this thread (not counting the ones that were deleted)?

Many of the Catholic schools are very conservative...think Blessed Sacrament, Matre Dei, The Heights, Holy Redeimer. Many of the other Catholic schools attract conservative parents even if they are Jesuit...do you think Georgetown Prep has many liberals? Not many I can assure you.

Matre Dei is so liberal! Many other Catholic schools are equally conservative.

Get your head out of the sand and open your eyes.

Sounds like you chose a cheap as* private school for your kids.

Mine have great sports and facilities, and not many psych liberals.

Because the independent school we picked was better in every respect. On some points the differential was a chasm whereas the gap was much smaller in other areas. We reassessed at MS and again at high school (for SWW, not Wilson).

Also because we value education above a gigantic addition with an open floor plan and an Audi Q7

You sound like you’re fun at parties.

I am the fun one in the crowd usually, assuming the crowd is CCDC.

It’s about $35 grand a year if you call that cheap.

Get your head out the sand. Mater dei is not in DC as poster said and mater dei is not the only Catholic.

The post does not say that the school is conservative. What are you talking about?

Gonzaga has conservative kids and parents. Same with Georgetown Visitation.

It’s apparent many Catholic parents do not know all the Catholic schools and much less the ones in DC.
Get out of your parochial, Mater Dei, and GP world. There are multiple in DC and not all conservative by no means.
