Help me think of colleges for our daughter

UF--Has sororities and a lot of outside activities and hiking in the area. The student body is a bit larger than what you requested but the college has a small intimate feel and is in a town.

Sometimes kids wants things that are not good for them. She thinks she wants greek life now . . . until she actually experiences it. Far too often greek life is not kind to young women.

I disagree on Greek life it can be really great for young women, myself included

Yeah, the date rare culture at some of these places is lots of fun. Twenty students have died pledging since 2005. One of them was my cousin’s son’s best friend. The incident ruined a lot of other lives too. My cousin’s son dropped out and spent years trying to recover.

Sure, greek life can be really great, until it isn’t.

Should have been “date rape”.
