| Why isn’t SHE looking around? Or do you not like what she wants to consider? |
She’s starting. But ideas always helpful. There are a lot of schools out there! |
Midsize is sort of hard: Catholic schools often the right size but in urban areas. Maybe Vermont; UMASS (maybe too big) and Ithaca College come to mind. |

| JMU good idea! Not great hiking in Dallas. A bit too big maybe, but Tennessee near the Smoky Mountains? |
| It really will depend on her scores. She could get merit aid at a lot of southern schools (where sororities are big)-- U Miss, Alabama, U South Carolina, Clemson, etc. And, check out some schools in Colorado. |

Some place like the University of Vermont or the University of Maine. If she can handle cold weather and wants a private school, Syracuse University seems to be hot. I know a kid there who truly loves the place. If she prefers warm weather, maybe she could look at a place like Florida Gulf Coast University (public), the University of Miami (a reach private) or the University of Tampa (a match private). If any of those options, or others people suggest, sound close but not quite right, she could go on Niche.com and search for a college. Toward the bottom of the page, you get a list of similar schools. |
