Most of those traits only matter for men. Most women only have to worry about not being fat which is completely within one’s control (if you think it’s genetic then why were there so few obese people in the 1950’s? Our genes don’t change that quickly). Men have to worry about being tall, well built, and not going bald which are 99% out of your control. The money thing is definitely unearned in some cases but around 85-90% of millionaires are self made, and being rich is only important if you are a man. A woman just needs to not be overweight and she is automatically in the upper echelon of society, she will have marriage access to a higher status man. |
+1000 AND, not to mention, there are soooo many white Americans who have a terrible economic outlook, poor education, horrible health, no access to travel or other privileges. It’s not all roses for white Americans. Many white families experience addiction, abuse, etc. I am convinced that America’s next generation of economic and political leadership will be multi ethnic, with a a majority being POC. It’s going to be an interesting change, one that I think is exciting to watch although I want all Americans to prosper regardless of color and geography. |
| I think beauty is the most unearned privilege of birth. Male or female, no matter the race. |
Not to derail but this needs to be corrected. For someone with a high IQ, you’re missing a few things. People with IQs under 120 just aren’t going to survive at ivies, U Chicago, MIT, Stanford, and other really top schools. I watched my magnet kid struggle to get As at one of these. Now if you’re taking about having a certain SAT cutoff and then selecting from the remaining pool based on effort, character and determination, that makes sense. |
I call BS on this ... total and complete BS |
I disagree. There are a lot of thin unattractive women out there. You need a nice face too. As women age, the skinnier they get, the older they look as well. |
I agree. It is a privilege to be White. |
I'm assuming that was posted facetiously. At least I hope so. |
| Being born in the US. |
| Why does India have an entire ocean named after it? Why can't we celebrate those born in Oman with the Omanian Ocean or the Sri Lankan Ocean? |
+1 |
So you’re admitting you’re a white supremacist? |
Do you mean “why does society put”? |
Pretty much nails it. “Lord, please grant me the self-confidence and assuredness of a mediocre white man!” |
Speak for yourself in your little bubble. You obviously have no clue about all the other white people out there. |
