Unearned privileges of birth

Why society puts so much value in unearned privileges of one’s birth? Looks, height, money, build, hair, status etc are genetic or inheritances but earn more benefits than hard work, kindness and such.

Human nature.

Because white people are privileged from the moment we’re born. The world is practically given to us, and we excel despite our mediocrity, just because we’re white. A POC must be 6 times as talented as a white person just to achieve the same outcomes.

Why did this immediately become about race?

I personally value kindness above all else. Clearly you are not talking about me. .I also value order in cleanliness. This is because cleanliness is next to godliness

I think there are many different angles on this complicated question. Some are structural and some are related to personal biases.
According to Robin Hughes, Unearned privilege, implicit bias, and institutionalized racism work in much the same way as unearned height privilege. Race, like height, is central to our everyday interactions and sends tightly coupled and clear messages to each of us daily. Height privilege affords those who are tall with unearned privileges based on a system that rewards society’s construction of “tall.”

WHAT IS PRETTY PRIVILEGE?
Pretty privilege works on the principle that people who are deemed more attractive—based on accepted societal beauty standards—have an upper hand in the world and are afforded many opportunities that us regular folks don't have.

Why label it as pseudo-intellectualism, unless you are subconsciously projecting.

Thick, straight, shiny hair are deemed more attractive.
