Anyone in Puerto Rico? No power on island?

I would ask a lot of questions before coming down if you are not adventurous. Restaurants are open with generators. Very crowded and slow service. But that is everywhere - the slow service. Just be prepared - I'm not complaining. We bought a bunch of groceries just so we didn't have to eat out every meal. Just takes way too long.
As we drove back from Cabo Rojo a good portion of island south of San Juan still has no power.

I would be very disappointed if all that was going on during my precious vacation time.

I’d cancel in a heartbeat if everything is refundable or can be changed to later dates. It does not sound like the island is ready for tourists right now.

If you’re on JetBlue, take a look at the cancellations on Friday and today (Saturday). We’re flying out on Sunday as well, in theory….

Power wise, you might be okay — it looks like most of it is back online. https://abcnews.go.com/US/power-850000-customers-puerto-rico-amid-massive-outage/story?id=83958378

PP here. I am not disappointed. We had an amazing time in an amazing place. But we are adventerous and can roll with things like this. Others may not be able to - I totally get that. Next time we are looking to book in a resort. It will just be easier for me We still love PR and can't wait to come back next year.
