For those that went to MoCo from DC, what grade?

Anonymous
We left our charter in third grade - I'm so glad we did so we could give DC a chance to get to know new classmates before moving on to middle school together. It was a really nice change to be in a neighborhood school - the bus stop was at the end of our street and many of our child's new friends were within walking/biking distance for them.
While MCPS is not perfect, we appreciate going from a charter with limited resources heavily reliant upon family contributions of time and money, to a large, stable, well-resourced public school system. It is night and day.
