Controlling mother in law? Or something else?

Omg, we have the same mother in law. Mine will bring her own water bottles as if we don’t have water. She used to bring all her own ingredients, snacks, everything, and things for my niece who travels with her, like a cup. As if we don’t have cups. Mind you, my niece is 13 years old and perfectly capable of using any of our cups, plastic or glass.

I think it’s a controlling thing. She’s insanely anxious. I drew this one boundary: no more cooking here. I do the cooking. The fact that she brings her own snacks, waters, implements….I just try to ignore it now. She’s rude and nuts.
