Wow. This opinion piece by Kim Foxx is quite something. She contends that Smollett was wrongly prosecuted.
It was her mishandling of this case that prompted the appointment of a special prosecutor. And, of course, she throws out the race card as well.

I pray this woman is voted out.

I am all of the above as well but he’s not being “let off.” He’s out of jail pending appeal and that appeal will fail.
