Do you have a go to meal or snack when you feel constipated?

Would a fresh salad with extra olive oil be a good contender? A cup of ginger tea?

Did you recently shift to your current higher fiber diet? If so, you might be feeling bloated/constipated as your system adjusts. A few years ago I changed my diet, which was already fairly high in fiber and I was "regular," to a more plant based diet, and for about six months I had issues. I took a probiotic for a few days or maybe a week, and it was like magic. I thought it was strange that a probiotic helped, because I had read about how all the foods I was eating were supposed to help balance your gut microbiome. But that seemed to do the trick. I have not needed to continue using them. So, you might try a probiotic. I don't think it would hurt and might help.

+1 coffee

watermelon, but that might be too sweet

Not a snack, but a little exercise might help. A few sit-ups seem to activate things for me.
