The GOP is trying to rip Biden for saying that Putin is a strong adversary. What Pompeo said goes way above that and is fawning over Putin.

+1 And he’s not just the host, he’s the political director of NBC News.

He's a Democrat. We all know he has to have a diverse panel of political pundits, but apparently it's hard to find a sane Republican now. Most have left the party.

I rather doubt Pletka will be given more air time at least here. It's not just her delusional comments, but, it was her behavior. Really unprofessional.

No, Chuck Todd is a Republican and does the GOP’s work for them every Sunday morning.

No, he isn't. Does he do the work in challenging these folks? No.
Watch Margaret Brennan do that.

Nooo, not those comments. That's the walkback. Here is the tape of the comments Pompeo made earlier in the week. Maybe you get away with this if you are some talking head in a think tank, but this is the GD former CIA director and Secretary of State. This is massively problematic.

WTAF? Pompeo is talking like he wants to have s*x with Putin. Beyond offensive. This apparently is the state of the 45 party these days.

This is what she was defending.
What’sherface was literally saying that Pompeii didn’t say this
F her

What she said was that he "misspoke." She sounds like an apologist, and it's too close to Trump's comments.

A sophisticated counterpart who assassinates people- including his own. He may be intelligent, he may be fascinating but that is in complete isolation from his actions and other parts of his personality. Thats like saying Manson was charistmatic and you really admire how he was able to bring people together. The outcome matters!

Is she in 8th grade?

The only thing I can think of is that she is a Republican and dumber than a box of rocks. She is awful.

I watched the show for years but had to stop within the first year that he began anchoring. He’d always leave me frustrated that he did not ask obvious questions. Statements seem to fly over his head. He’s not a quick thinker. I suspect he’s quite dull minded. He has ruined a 60 year old program that dates from the dawn of TV. It was must see TV at one time. They need to boot him.

He's an abuser. He verbally abuses his staff and anyone who comes visit who catches him in a bad mood and whom he believes he can bully.

Complete piece of trash.

If he were a woman all they’d be asking Pompous is about his weight loss and diet tips. Did he get his stomach reduced or stapled?

Dp- I think he sees himself as apolitical. Which would be great if he was good at his job.
But he sucks at his job, because Chuck Todd sucks.

I grew up watching Tim Russert with my Dad... It just hasn't been the same since 08. I knew Tim was a Republican but the way he went at people you honestly couldn't tell.

I wish that bum at the end would watch and take notes.

Also I'm proud of Pletka for showing up, she usually hides for months when Republicans do something stupid.

This is the same thing I was thinking. He echoes what DT says about Putin basically buying Ukraine by tolerating weak sanctions.

I loathe Pompeo, but I didn't find what he said particularly offensive. He was offering his truth.

What I did find offensive, though, was his laughing, chuckling, while he praised Putin and said the man is doing what he needs to do to keep himself in power. That was pretty odd.

But Pompeo spoke the truth, sad to say. He does admire Putin. He certainly forgot to note that Putin has murdered and thrown in jail all of his adversaries, that he's crowned himself president for life, that he's stolen $100 billion from his country, etc. etc.

The January 6th rioters should use that at their trials.

It comes off like he’s engaging in locker room talk…ya know just shootin’ the $hit, talkin’ to the boys. That’s the vibe I get from him…by that I mean, he’s TRYING to come off like this, not just that I think this is how he sounds. It seems deliberate from his end. It’s strange. It’s like he feels self-important that someone is asking his opinion, especially now that he has a new look. Arrogance, almost.
