I can't bring myself to watch Republicans try to excuse other Republicans actually say what they think out loud.

He's a Democrat. We all know he has to have a diverse panel of political pundits, but apparently it's hard to find a sane Republican now. Most have left the party.

I rather doubt Pletka will be given more air time at least here. It's not just her delusional comments, but, it was her behavior. Really unprofessional.

OP, I didn't watch it. DH wanted to watch a Sunday show and I replied, "Anything but mealy mouth Meet the Press." My DS, who is an occasionally cranky HS senior, has better chops for that job than Todd. Todd's questions are banal and he doesn't hold his guests accountable for their comments, even when it is more than abundantly clear that they are spewing lies.

I don't necessarily think he holds a brief for the GOP, but I do think he is not up to the task in an era of dis/misinformation.

I don't understand this trend of criticizing people for acknowledging that our enemies can have certain characteristics such as being smart or shrewd. Are we only allowed to say that our enemies are stupid and naive?

Dp- I think he sees himself as apolitical. Which would be great if he was good at his job.
But he sucks at his job, because Chuck Todd sucks.
