Grandma/prude suggestions movies or series

Maybe Derry Girls? There is one character that swears a fair bit but it is very much part of her personality and it is with a heavy Irish accent so sounds kind of charming. Watch one episode and see.

I have this issue where I recommend a series to my parents and the very first one they try and watch is the uniquely offensive one. (For example - Seinfeld - the contest episode) My mother was done after that.

Yes! This has a Little House on the Prairie wholesomeness about it. Also the original Upstairs Downstairs, the Duchess of Duke Street, and Shtisel.

Alas, the Queen's Gambit won't fit the prude's criteria. https://lolalambchops.com/queens-gambit-kid-friendly-parents-guide/

I was very disappointed that it's TV-MA, because it would have been a great movie for tween girls otherwise.

I find TV-MA useless in determining whether it's just a mature theme or basically porn.

DA also have Mary receiving oral sex.

A lot of the British shows are pretty graphic. Someone suggested Call the Midwife, a show I love, but it has all sorts of seamy stuff in it: incest, drug use, sex work, and intimate partner violence all spring to mind

+1. If she can comfortably read subtitles, there are lots of Korean shows. Their network standards are even more chaste than American ones.

Let us know, OP, and we can offer specific titles.
