Ted Lasso and After Life, while lovely with an uplifting message have a very high level of triggers for prudes. (I love Ted lasso and hated the story line of the female boss sleeping with a player/subordinate half her age — it’s inappropriate by any measure).

Yes! Granny only wants "nice" stories with happy endings. We keep the TV set to Hallmark channel when she visits and she is happy as a clam.

Just saw she likes many topics and no one is talking about movies - I am always a sucker for the inspiring sports story - Miracle, Remember the Titans, the Blind Side to name a few.
